Confidentiality Statement Chaplaincy Services is a Chartered ministry of the American Evangelical Christian Churches. It is not employment-related, program-oriented nor contract affiliated with a city or township services, agencies or organizations it serves. Chaplaincy Services is a ministry providing ordained Christian Chaplains and other Clergy to agencies and organizations in Southeast Michigan. It also provides specialized training for the employees and officers of the said agencies and organizations it serves. Chaplaincy Services respects the beliefs, opinions and lifestyles of those whom are served by our Chaplains or through the program without compromising our Christian hertitage. This ministry is provided for ALL employees, staff, volunteers and officers at the said agencies and organizations it serves. Resources
and programs made available on this web site are provided to assist
officers and staff of the the said agencies and organizations it serves
that include the community of citizens, organizations, churches and
clubs through out Southeastern Michigan.
Clergy
Defined. A clergyperson or practitioner of any religious
denomination accredited by the religious body to which he or she
belongs, shall not be compelled to disclose in any court, or to any
administrative board or agency, or to any public officer, a confession
or admission made to him or her in his or her professional character or
as a spiritual advisor in the course of the discipline enjoined by the
rules or practices of such religious body or of the religion which he
or she professes, nor be compelled to divulge any information which has
been obtained by him or her in such professional character or as such
spiritual advisor.
