Chaplaincy
Services of Southeast Michigan, in the spirit of John Wesley, provides
Ordained
Christian chaplains to minister at; Baptisms, Bible Studies, Churches,
Corporations, Companies, Funerals, Hospitals, Labor Organizations,
Nursing Homes, Police Departments, Pulpit Supply, Revivals, Weddings
and many other
events that require an
Ordained Christian minister. Our cost is
less than you think. Our purpose is to help proclaim the Gospel
of
Jesus Christ wherever we go. At the top of this page are links to some
of the ministries we provide to our clients.
The
following is a brief history of how Chaplaincy Services began Chaplaincy Services has
been helping people and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in
Michigan
since February of 1989 when Chaplain Art was licensed and was later
ordained with the American Evangelical Christian Churches in
Maryland. Under the AECC Umbrella he began with a three-fold
ministry around the Radio Program which consisted of
being, "On the air", "In Print" and "In
Person". Chaplaincy Services put the Gospel of Jesus Christ "On the Air" with its Radio ministry on June 3, 1989 with a program called The Radio Chaplain.
In
addition
to the Radio Chaplain, our PRINT MINISTRY
features
tracts and Christian literature under the title of The Paper Chaplain These
materials are distributed through
our Church outreach in
Southeast Michigan which provides Chaplaincy services to
hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes and
schools. The third phase of our
Ministry is delivering the Gospel in PERSON.
This is accomplished through our outreach Services
ministry, it includes; Pulpit supply, baptisms,
funerals,
Hospital visitations and Weddings.
We also have a Bible Study now in
its 16th year.
Many of our services are free, those which
are not are paid for by free will offerings. All our income is
put back into our
operating costs. In 1997 we CONTINUED our witness for Jesus Christ on the World Wide Web. Our first Christian witness Web Site was called The Net Chaplain. That same year we added 18 other Christian Witness Web Sites on the World Wide Web. Our online Christian Church for shut-ins is called, The Lite Church. The Lite Church has been on the World Wide Web since 1997 and has won several Awards for excellency since that time. Each Sunday members of the
Lite Church are provided with the Lite Church "Sunday Sermon"
which compliments our daily Sermons found on
the Lite Church Web Site. In 2003 Chaplaincy Services
became associated with Michigan Christians for Life in order that they
could survive the bad economy in the State of Michigan. We share office
space and facilities and of course proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ
in our respective ministries. |
